Wifey looks like she has her doubts. Or maybe she’s been asking Hubby to get the A/C fixed all summer. (Temp hit 109 on this day...)

Even through her sunglasses I can see the regret.

We did a parking lot AC charge on a school van, back when I taught high school. We were at a competition in Kansas City in the summer, when the AC on that POS Chevy Venture started blowing warm. The charge made the AC at least blow cool.

Products like this are a nice band aid to make it somewhat cold until you can figure out where it went in the first place.

Yep. Or in my particular case to get me back home, so I could never drive that steaming pile of crap again, because I already had another job in another district.

Or forever ignore the problem and just refill it once per summer. If its a slow leak its far cheaper that way. If the AC in my Miata starts leaking faster, its time to remove it for weight savings! Although I really just like having it to make the defogger work better.

Yup, been doing that for the past two-three summers for the Dakota, but this year it finally went so bad I needed two recharges in less than a month, whoops. I just finally got it all wrapped up yesterday after changing all the o rings and blowing all the extra oil and dye that had been added via those previous recharges. Seems to be good now.
